Alan Keyes to Move to Vermont!

Recently Alan Keyes, noted rightwing candidate for hire has been seen snooping around in the Burlington Vermont area, looking for a house to buy & office space to rent. Knowledgeable sources hint that Keyes may be planning on running against Bernie Sanders for the US Senate seat being vacated by Jim Jeffords.
Keyes did not return phone calls but was seen lunching at Freindly's in Colchester with Jack McMullen, 2 time challenger to Senator Leahy. McMullen, thought of as a carpetbagger by most Vermonters, lost a primary battle to retired farmer Fred Tuttle, an avowed Leahy supporter. Many observers felt that McMullen’s chances were better now that Tuttle had died, but he lost anyway. The waitress reported afterwards hat both men seemed bitter.
Bernie, according to a recent poll, destroys all comers due in large part to his independent political stances, as well as his support for the working poor & veterans. Many observers expect the GOP machine to attempt to slime Sanders, though experts do not expect that strategy to be successful in Vermont.
